I asked a question earlier...Can a ministry have a life apart from a person? What does this mean? It would seem to me that God makes men and calls them to do certain things both big and small in the eyes of men, but all worthy in the eyes of our God. It is these callings that are the ministry or the servings of an individual to God, and it is only through an individual that ministry can exist!! No ministry, no organization, no church can have a life or an existance that is counted as seperate from the individual called of God to minister. How is it that an individual minister begin a ministry and name it and then give that ministry its own life? Saying things like the ministry will pay for this or that or the church (I am speaking of the organization not the people) will do this or that but never I am doing this or that in the name of the Lord. God is calling us to stand before Him as individuals not as organizations! We were created for His good pleasure and fellowship with Him not to be members of man made institutions with man made rules, for these institutions and organizations can in no way have fellowship with our Father in heaven nor can they be intimate and personal with individuals. Ask yourself, rather ask God, what it means to be born anew, to be a new creation, to have the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwelling in you. Dig deeply into God and trust not the words and ways of men but rather you have an annointing from the Holy One and know all things and need not that any man should teach you. Test these words before God and see if they be truth. Expose darkness abd let the light of Jesus Christ shine through you, fear not what men can do for they have no power over your soul.

Jesus said go and sin no more lest something worse befall you

Sad Thing

The sad thing is that most of us don't care about eternal life and think religion, especially Christinity, is a joke. The sad thing is that we trust in our own ability to understand what is best for us and ignore our Creator. The sad thing is that we all follow our own judgments of right and wrong and what feels "good". The sad thing is that we love ourselves and not our neighbors we love ourselves and not our God. The sad thing is we trust in men to explain things by reason and never search for deeper truth. The sad thing is we may say we believe in God but we neglect Jesus Christ because of a matter of our own understanding or the behavior of others! The sad thing is that we ignore people in need because we fear our own needs may overtake us. The sad thing is that we are all gone after our own desires and care nothing for the interests of others unless it benefits us in some way. The sad thing is that we rate our worth as a person based on what we do or have and not on who we are.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life and yesterday is gone forever and tomorrow may never come. Love God, love people and miss no oppertunity to seek truth and speak truth

Jesus is the resurection and the life....be born anew and live!!!

The beginning

I have titled this the beginning not as an examination of the beginning of all things but rather the beginning of entries here. Ask youself about faith...do you have any? What is it in? The scriptures call faith the evidence of things hoped for and the substance of things not seen and at times faith is the equivalent of believing as well as hope. But I challange you to see what that means. Is there but one God or any God at all? Yes , but how so, if He is unseeable? Did Louis Pateur see the microscopic rabbi's germs before or after he believed they were there? Not after but before. The substance of faith can only be proven after you have it and you can only have faith in Jesus Christ if He reveals himself to you. To believe you must first believe it is possible for God to be and then you must look for Him. If you just look for proof that is touchable and reasonable you may never understand why God is touchable and reasonable. Do you know all things? Do you know any person who knows all things? If it is true that no peron knows all things is it then reasonable to say that all things known can possibly be flawed? If all things we "know" are flawed because our basis for knowledge is flawed then how do we begin to know anything? Only a persuit after an all knowing, all loving God to draw from can posibly give us a foundation for truth. This God is not just for our information gathering or peace of mind but is the source of all life. Seek a revelation of God and an answer on Jesus Christ His Son. Do this earnestly and ferverently with all humility and meekness knowing only that you know nothing and wait for Him.

A challange for believers. Can a ministry have a life of its own apart from a person?

Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh!
